Strategic Advisory
The decisions that set direction: where to compete, what to build, what to stop, and what the next three years have to prove.
For principals, founders and leadership teams.
Strategy work in a private company is rarely a document. It is a set of decisions the principal has to make with incomplete information, usually while running the business. JYCO's role is to bring an independent view of the market, the operating reality and the capital position together, so the decision is made on the whole picture rather than on the part that is loudest.
We are most useful where the strategic question has an operating or capital consequence that the strategy alone does not reveal: a market entry that depends on a supply chain that does not yet exist, a growth plan the organisation cannot staff, or a partnership that changes who controls the customer.

Before recommending anything.
- What the business actually earns money from, and whether that is what the strategy assumes
- The operating capacity behind each option, not only the market size in front of it
- The capital each path requires and when
- What has to be true for the plan to work, stated plainly enough to be tested
